Covid-19

Protocols & Procedures

The health and well-being of our students and families is our #1 priority.  Here's how we are making things safe for all in our facility.

  • Our common areas will be cleaned frequently throughout the day.  In addition, our studio equipment will be cleaned between classes.

  • HEPA Air Purifiers will be running continuously during all classes.

  • Restrooms will be open for our students and staff only.  Restrooms will be maintained, cleaned, and wiped down per CDC recommendations.

  • The waiting area will be closed to the general public and parents waiting for pick-up are encouraged to wait in their car or outside.

  • We have several hand sanitizers readily available throughout the studio as well as two different hand washing stations.   Students will wash their hands before using any studio equipment.

  • Only staff and students feeling well (without symptoms) will be permitted in class.  Staff will be monitored for temperatures daily.  In addition teachers and staff will be wearing masks inside the classroom anytime that social distancing requirements cannot be met due to the nature of teaching.

  • We will limit our class sizes to accommodate social distancing guidelines and keep students farther apart.  We encourage our students to social distance while in the studio and waiting room.

  • When unable to social distance, students will be required to wear a mask (for all class sizes over 10 students).

  • In the event your student or anyone in your household is sick, not feeling well, or experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms, please stay home.  We will be recording all classes and will provide your student access to all missed class recordings.

  • We are encouraging all within our facility to cough and sneeze into their arms, not in their hands, and immediately go to one of the hand washing stations to wash their hands and face.

  • Students not feeling well during class will be removed from class, and parents will be called to arrange immediate pick-up.

If you or your student(s) has been exposed or has been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, please inform us immediately.   All personal information will be kept confidential.

Your student may be able to return and resume normal participation at St. Johns Stage with a doctor’s note/clearance.  A negative COVID-19 test result may be required in order to resume normal participation.

We are thankful to all of you for working with us during this time.  Thank you for your continued support!

Please let us know if you have any questions.
